The League of the Unbroken Centre for veteran and adaptive sports has opened in Lviv, located at the Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University. The centre is equipped with zones for strength and cardio training, a space for physical practices, a co-working area, and workshops. A unique feature is the inclusive 70-metre archery range, the only one of its kind in Ukraine.

More than 47 million hryvnias were allocated from the regional budget for the comprehensive renovation of the complex and the creation of sports infrastructure for the rehabilitation of war veterans. The “League of the Unbroken” is part of the regional policy for adaptation, sports development, and mental health support for the residents of the Lviv region.

The centre has become part of a large recovery ecosystem being developed by the Lviv National Medical University. The university has also established a University Hospital, a Prosthetics Centre, a Centre for Clinical and Preclinical Research, a Sports Rehabilitation and Archery Centre, as well as a Centre for Simulation Surgery on Living Tissues.
