In Lviv, thick fog with visibility from 200 to 500 metres is expected during the night and morning of 19 September. This was reported by the Lviv Regional Hydrometeorological Centre.
Due to the challenging weather conditions, the city council is asking residents and visitors to be especially careful on the roads.
Drivers are advised to choose a moderate speed, keep a safe distance between vehicles and ensure their headlights are switched on. Pedestrians are urged to cross the road only at designated places and, where possible, use reflective elements — bands, stickers, vests — to make themselves more visible to drivers.
In case of unforeseen situations, residents are asked to contact the “City Hotline” by calling 15-80 or via the available online services.
