A comprehensive treatment for children with cerebral palsy has been introduced in Lviv.
A leading surgeon from the USA is participating in the project. St. Nicholas Hospital of the First Medical Association of Lviv announces registration for free consultations. Selection is conducted for an innovative microsurgical operation that reduces spasticity – increased muscle tone.
The operations will be performed by experienced American surgeon Shawn Mendenhall, who has already carried out 40 such interventions in the USA. This summer, he successfully performed microsurgical operations on two children in Ukraine. “These innovative interventions, called ‘hyperselective neurotomy’, were performed for the first time in our country,” explained the First Medical Association of Lviv.
To participate, you need to fill out a Google form and wait for a call from the hospital specialists. Consultations will be held every Wednesday from 10:00 to 14:00.
