On Tuesday, 29 September, the final stage of the autumn acaricidal treatment of parks and forest-park areas will be carried out in Lviv. While the work is underway, residents and visitors are asked to refrain from walking in these locations, as well as from walking their pets there.
Treatment against ticks is planned in the Piskovi Ozera, Horikhovyi Hai and Koloniia parks, on Roksoliany Street, in I. Vyhovskyi Park, in the Ozero Levandivske, Sknylivskyi and Levandivskyi parks, as well as in the Bilohorshcha forest park.
Acaricidal measures will also be carried out in the Lisopark “Rudno” local nature reserve and on the land plot in the area of M. Hrushevskyi, I. Ohiienka, Ozerna and A. Sheptytskyi streets in the village of Rudno.
The treatment is intended to prevent the proliferation of ticks in the green areas of the Lviv City Territorial Community. Work will primarily be carried out near children's playgrounds, footpaths, recreation areas and other places most frequently visited by people.
