In the town of Novyi Rozdil, rescuers saved an 85-year-old woman who required medical assistance. This occurred at midday on 6 April when the Rescue Service received a report about an incident in the Stryi district.
The woman, who lived in a two-storey house, was unresponsive and did not open the door. Rescuers arrived at the scene, set up a ladder to the window to enter the flat, allowing access for police and medics.
In the residence, medics found the woman in a serious condition and she was hospitalised at Novyi Rozdil City Hospital with a preliminary diagnosis of stroke.
