Additional drinking water tanks have been installed in Rudno and Malehiv. This has been done due to the heat and increased consumption, which may lead to temporary drops in pressure in the water supply network.
According to Lvivvodokanal Municipal Enterprise, air temperatures are expected to rise to +36 °C in the near future, so as a precaution residents have been given access to backup containers. Each tank has a capacity of 3.2 m³, and company employees will monitor their condition and replenish the water reserves as needed.
The tanks are located at the following addresses:
- in Rudno: 97d Shevchenka Street; 66 Hrushevskoho Street;
- in Malehiv: near the Taras Shevchenko monument; Sichovykh Striltsiv Street.
Lvivvodokanal stresses that before use, water from the backup containers must be boiled. The water reserves in the tanks will be replenished as required.
