Birth of Record-Holders at St. Anne’s Hospital in Lviv

St. Anne’s Hospital of the First Medical Association of Lviv has shared news about the newborns of August. Record-holders include a strong baby girl weighing 4400 g and a boy weighing 2100 g.

Thus, the biggest baby was a girl, who was born naturally at the 40th week of pregnancy. Her birth weight was 4400 grams, and her height was 57 centimeters.

These indicators are above average but considered normal. The smallest boy was born at the 37th week of pregnancy weighing 2100 g and measuring 49 cm. He had an intrauterine growth retardation syndrome of the second degree, which can lead to complications, but this time, there were no problems.

\”But, thank God, there were no complications for this boy. Already on the third day, we discharged him home absolutely healthy,\” says neonatologist Oksana Zadoretska from St. Anne’s Hospital.

The doctors wish all the babies strong health and a happy destiny.
