The Sheptytskyi municipal territorial community has introduced a social service entitled “comprehensive development and care for children with disabilities”. It is provided in accordance with the provisions of Resolution No. 764 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 25.06.2025.
Children aged 6 and over who have intellectual, functional (sensory, motor, speech), physical, socio-adaptive and/or other complex developmental impairments are eligible for this service. The service is intended for those who, due to their state of health, cannot attend full-time education and receive schooling in a family (home) format, under pedagogical patronage, in special classes, or are not enrolled in educational institutions.
A mandatory condition is that the inclusive resource centre has assigned the child level 4 or 5 support.
The service is provided by the Non-Governmental Organisation “Foundation for Development and Strategic Change”, located at: Sheptytskyi, 3 Ivasyuka Street.
To access the social service, parents or the child’s legal representatives must contact the Department of Labour and Social Protection of the Population of the Sheptytskyi City Council at: Sheptytskyi, 1 SokaIska Street, office 401 (4th floor).
