In the Lviv region, a significant increase in cases of influenza and other acute respiratory viral infections has been observed. The deputy head of the district unit of the State Institution ‘Lviv Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine,’ Oksana Slyvynska, reported that the epidemic threshold has been exceeded by 19.7%.
Slyvynska added that in Sheptytsky District, the epidemic threshold is only 2% away from being exceeded, and the number of infections has increased by 7% compared to the previous week.
