As of January 1, the National Program ‘Health Screening 40+’ has been launched in Ukraine. The initiative was created by the Ministry of Health in collaboration with partners.
The program offers **comprehensive preventive examination** for individuals over 40 years old. This allows for the early detection of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, obesity, and mental health issues. These conditions significantly affect quality of life and often lead to mortality.
In the Drohobych community, examinations can be conducted at the KNP ‘Drohobych City Polyclinic’ and KNP ‘Drohobych District Polyclinic’. “What is included in the health screening and how to utilize the program – explains Iryna Diakun,” states the acting medical director of KNP ‘Drohobych City Polyclinic’.
