A renowned European interventional cardiologist, Krzysztof Pujdak, is starting work at the University Hospital. The doctor will be consulting patients and selecting those who require complex endovascular interventions on the coronary vessels.
The consultations are primarily intended for patients with severe coronary artery disease, in particular left main coronary artery pathology, pronounced vascular calcification, chronic total occlusions, as well as other complicated vascular conditions requiring interventional treatment.
To make an appointment with the foreign specialist, a patient must first undergo an initial examination by cardiologists at the University Hospital. The local specialists will assess the patient’s health, review existing test results, refer for additional diagnostics if necessary, and compile a medical document package for further review by Krzysztof Pujdak.
Appointments for the initial consultation are made via the hospital’s call centre using the telephone number provided by the institution.
