Last week, the lecture “Your attitude is your strength” was held for the volunteers of the “Hear the doctor” project in the premises of the health care department of the Lviv OVA. It was developed by an orthopedic traumatologist, a medical expert of the department, Yuriy Trutyak, together with project volunteer Elvira Surdyuk.
As noted during the event, 90% of cases of incorrect posture are acquired defects. Improper sitting, carrying a backpack on one shoulder, lack of physical activity, flat feet, and sitting cross-legged are just some of the factors that contribute to these problems.
With age, correcting the consequences of incorrect posture becomes much more difficult, so it is important to take care of your health from childhood.
Volunteers who listened to this lecture are already starting to spread useful knowledge among schoolchildren in the Lviv region.

– Meeting with students of LNMU
During the meeting, the issues of healthy eating and healthy habits will be discussed, including the problems of obesity and its prevention. They will also talk about the “Hear the Doctor” project and the opportunity to join the team.
The meeting will take place on October 24 at 4:00 p.m. in the theoretical building of LNMU named after Danyla Halytskyi, auditorium A2.
– Discussion on radiological and interventional diagnostics of the mammary gland
Topics for discussion:
– Ultrasound anatomy of the mammary gland and radiological classification of Bi-Rads for neoplasms.
– The role of ultrasound and mammography in the differential diagnosis of neoplasms in the mammary gland (benign and cancerous).
– Interventional diagnostics, including fine-needle and trepan (core) biopsy.

We would like to remind you that the “Listen to the Doctor” project has been holding educational lectures on healthy lifestyle and prevention of the most common diseases in educational institutions of the Lviv region for the third year in a row.
“Listen to the doctor” became part of the Comprehensive program of mental health care and psychosocial support of the civilian population in the Lviv region for 2023-2026.
