Modernization of medical equipment at Yavorivska Central District Hospital
From now on, the hospital has a device for objective assessment of the degree of hyperbilirubinemia in newborn children by a non-invasive method – BILITEST, which makes it possible to:
- detailed monitoring of the dynamics of neonatal jaundice and the effectiveness of treatment.
- The measurement process lasts 1-2 seconds, which allows you to quickly and accurately determine the level of bilirubin in the child’s blood.
- BILITEST allows you to limit the number of newborns who need to take blood for laboratory research. Another innovation is the crib for newborns, designed to ensure the anatomically correct position of the baby, protect it from falling, and create comfortable conditions for care and medical manipulations.
