Ukrainians who were forced to move from their hometowns to Lviv because of the war receive shelter and help here, including medical care. During this time, more than 103,000 Ukrainians have already received treatment and consultations.
As the city health department explains, it is about emergency and planned care, prevention, vaccination, etc.
Thus, 6,482 forcibly displaced Ukrainians were hospitalized in Lviv hospitals with various injuries and wounds (227 people are currently being treated, others have already been discharged). 77,909 Ukrainians applied for outpatient care at polyclinics, of which 12,758 were children, 2,413 were pregnant women. Mobile teams at the points of registration and temporary stay provided assistance to 19,217 people.
Due to Russian aggression, hundreds of people suffer every day, so in order to make their treatment and rehabilitation comfortable and accessible in Ukraine, UNBROKEN is creating an ecosystem of support and care for people in Lviv. And as early as tomorrow, a mobile prosthesis workshop will be opened here so that as many Ukrainians as possible can get high-quality modern prostheses in their native country.
