Military serviceman Oleg Zayats, who recently retired from the ranks of the Ukrainian army, opened a rehabilitation office “Space of Health” in Lviv, which will help servicemen and their family members recover. In addition to his own investments, the man received a business voucher for 250,000 hryvnias within the framework of the veterans’ support program of the Lviv City Council, thanks to which he started his business.
“When I was in the east together, my duties included medical support for our military. And I saw very well that in addition to purely military specifics, such as various wounds, acubarotraumas (contusions), injuries or damage to the spine, back, and musculoskeletal system were very common. This is due to the extremely difficult conditions in which our boys and girls serve. They must always wear heavy body armor and be in trenches. All this leads to the fact that many soldiers have back problems.
And I decided to give them the opportunity, when they either come on vacation or leave, to come to us and be treated. This is what I, including, did in the war zone. Therefore, I understand very well that they need it very much. And I can do it professionally,” says Oleg Zayats, the founder of Prostoru zdrovya, a veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
The man opened a rehabilitation office in the city center, on the street. Doroshenko, 35. Here, services are provided to both military personnel and civilian patients in therapeutic massage, acupuncture, manual therapy, rehabilitation of the musculoskeletal system, and craniosacral therapy.
With the help of acupuncture using the dry needling method, patients can eliminate acute and chronic pain in the muscles, as well as speed up the healing of injuries of the musculoskeletal system.
“Thanks to the city’s support, my wife and I have created an opportunity for our defenders to improve their health. They can always turn to our rehabilitation office and receive attention, understanding and professional medical care. In addition, I believe that this is a very good tool for the socialization of veterans. After all, many of those who returned from the war need support from the state. And the best way to return to civilian life is to help other veterans,” says the veteran entrepreneur.
We will remind you that in September, the Lviv City Council supported the first 6 business projects of veterans and their wives or husbands.
“We gladly support the business projects of our defenders and their families. Today we consider it our mission and duty. We also encourage small and medium-sized entrepreneurs to take advantage of the support program from the Lviv City Council, because the city already has 12 vouchers to help our entrepreneurs,” said Inna Svystun, director of the economic development department of the Lviv City Council.
As a reminder, the business voucher can be used for:
purchase of equipment, raw materials, materials, components;
rent of premises and means of transport necessary for the implementation of one’s business project;
purchase of licensed software;
training and consulting on starting and running a business.
