During the past week, from April 16 to 22, the operational dispatch department of the Lviv Regional Center for Emergency Medical Aid and Disaster Medicine received 11,416 calls to the “103” number – 512 calls more than last week.
EMD teams made 4,160 visits to patients – in 2,744 cases these were patients in emergency and critical conditions.
Ambulance teams delivered 2,067 patients to the regional hospital.
49.6% of emergency calls ended with hospitalization of patients, in 50.4% of calls, assistance was provided at the scene.
All 100% of patients with acute cerebral stroke (161 persons) and acute coronary syndrome (79 patients) were hospitalized in a hospital with the possibility of providing specialized care.
