The second year of full-scale war taught Ukrainians to stand up for their ideals, state values and courageously defend every piece of land. The feat of Ukrainian soldiers who defend our sovereignty every day is priceless. The task of the cities in the rear and of every conscious Ukrainian is to support the soldiers, cover the needs and provide information, because this is the only way we can bring our victory closer.
These days, the Mayor of Drohobych, Taras Kuchma, thanked the entrepreneurs and conscious residents of Drohobych region who support the soldiers, close meetings for the important needs of the defenders, and deliver the necessary weapons or ammunition to the front lines.
Thus, thanks for a conscious public position, charitable assistance provided, assistance in the implementation of projects important for communities and on the occasion of the International Volunteer Day were received by:
— Ruslan Derzhko, deputy director for administrative and economic work of the Drohobytsky Mechanical and Technological College. From the first days of the war, Ruslan Derzhko was engaged in the settlement of IDPs in the dormitory of the educational institution, supervised this process, and also on his initiative meetings for the 67th separate battalion are constantly held. In addition, students of the mechanical and technological college constantly participate in the meeting of the funeral processions with the fallen Heroes and pray for them,
— Taras Luzhetskyi, entrepreneur, «Parket» store. With the help of Taras Luzhetsky, systematic support of the 67th separate battalion, sending of components from the store, assistance in the rehabilitation and treatment of soldiers takes place. During the war, Mr. Taras’ shop became a kind of indomitable point,
— the team of the technical department of the «Robert Service» service station. Since the first day of the war, service station workers have been actively repairing cars that are sent from Drohobych to the front, diligently respond to the needs of soldiers and close them. They participate in the meeting of fallen defenders.
The presentation of thanks was initiated by the head of the community, Taras Kuchma, together with the «ATO-Drogobychchyna» Association of the Ukrainian Civil Service, directly from acting the head of the Union Andriy Manko, who helped the mayor to issue letters and joined the words of gratitude to the entrepreneurs of Drohobych for their conscious public stance and support for the soldiers.
