On June 30, the body of fallen soldier Vitalii Yuriiovych Vankevych will return to his native Sheptytskyi community. The mourning cortege is expected to arrive between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to meet with local residents.
At 7:30 p.m., a Requiem Service will be held in St. Josaphat Church.
The funeral ceremony will take place on July 1 at 11:00 a.m.

After the memorial service, his comrades will carry the coffin to the cross in the town center, where the community can pay final respects.

Vitalii Vankevych will be laid to rest in the Heroes’ Alley at Bendiuze Cemetery.
Local authorities urge the community to attend and honor the fallen defender, who gave his life for Ukraine’s freedom and independence.
