The Belz community welcomed back their Defender, Maksym Mykolayovych Dnistryanskyi, who returned home on a shield.
“They waited for him… Waited for him alive… Waited with the hope that the war would spare…” — but he returned as a Hero, having given his life for Ukraine.
The frost cut through the breath, but the pain cut even deeper. Tears of relatives fell onto the white snow, which became a symbol of the purity of the sacrifice.
The residents of Belz and the community gathered to pay their last respects to the Defender with state flags, prayers, and on their knees.
Maksym Dnistryanskyi will forever remain in the memory of the community as a brave warrior, son, father, brother. His feat is a part of our shared history and resilience.
