The hero Serhiy Tupis will return for the last time today to his native Povytne. The route of the mourning procession will pass through the town of Horodok, where a meeting will take place at the central square at 13:00. In his hometown of Povytne, the meeting is scheduled for 13:30. People are invited to come and gratefully honour the memory of the Hero, as reported by Horodok community.
The soldier from the village of Povytne, Serhiy Stepanovych Tupis, born on March 16, 1987, tragically died on March 5, 2026, while defending Ukraine. This occurred near the settlement of Sosnivka in the Synelnykove District, in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Serhiy served in the 23rd separate mechanised brigade, remaining faithful to his military oath and loyal to his people, sacrificing his life for the freedom and independence of Ukraine.
We express our condolences to the family of our Hero, his grieving parents, wife, and two children, and to all who feel the bitter pain of this loss. We bow our heads before the sacrifice and bravery of the warrior. Eternal memory to you, Hero!
