The Sokal region is in mourning for Junior Sergeant Ivan Khuda, commander of the 6th unmanned aviation systems crew of military unit A4712. The defender of Ukraine died after a serious illness, which his heart could no longer withstand.
Ivan Khuda was born on 8 July 1991 in the town of Sokal. He studied at City School No. 4 and later continued his education at Novovolynsk College. From a young age, he was known for his diligence, courage and openness towards others.
The greatest value in Ivan’s life was his family. He was married to his wife Marta for ten years, and together they raised their son Davyd. His family was his main source of inspiration and the meaning of his life, as well as the reason for his dreams of a peaceful future.
When the need arose to defend Ukraine with arms in hand, Ivan Khuda fulfilled his duty as a true warrior. For his courage, selflessness, loyalty to the oath and successful completion of combat missions, he was awarded a number of high honours. What mattered most to him, however, was the respect of his comrades-in-arms and the love of his family.
Left in grief for Ivan Khuda are his mother Maya, father Oleksandr, grandmother Hanna, wife Marta, son Davyd, brothers Dima and Vadym, and the entire family.
The farewell to Junior Sergeant Ivan Khuda will take place on 31 October. At 12:30 near the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in Sokal, the community will receive the body of the defender; after its arrival, the vigil and funeral service will begin.
May the memory of Ivan Khuda be blessed. Eternal honour to the defender of Ukraine.
