In the Drohobych city territorial community, the programme of social support for veterans continues, providing reimbursement of the cost of services for organising family holidays for war veterans and members of their families.
During July 2026, UAH 415,000 from the city budget was allocated to this programme. The opportunity for recuperation and rest in July was taken up by 57 veterans’ families.
Since the start of the programme, a total of 142 families have benefitted from the family holiday service, for a total amount of UAH 1.06 million.
Reimbursement is provided to combatants, participants in the Anti-Terrorist Operation/Joint Forces Operation, persons with disabilities as a result of the war and members of their families who are registered and reside in the Drohobych city territorial community.
Applications for participation in the programme are still being accepted. Residents are advised to contact the Social Protection Department of the Drohobych City Council for more detailed information at the following addresses: Drohobych, Rynok Square, 1, and Stebnyk, Mazepy Street. Department opening hours: Monday–Thursday from 08:00 to 17:00, Friday from 08:00 to 15:45, without a lunch break.
