On 11 August, the community declared a Day of Mourning for Vitalii Horbovskyi, who was killed in action while carrying out a combat mission in the Russian-Ukrainian war.
On this day, in the settlements of the community, state flags will be flown at half-mast and it is recommended that entertainment events be limited as a mark of respect for the fallen defender.
