On 23 October, defender Yurii Zelinskyi will return to his home community “on the shield”. The mourning cortege with the serviceman’s body is expected to arrive in Sheptytskyi at around 13:00.
After the cortege arrives, a parastas and funeral service will be held in the Church of St Josaphat. The burial of Yurii Zelinskyi is planned for the Alley of Heroes at the Bendiuzke Cemetery.
Residents of the community are asked to join the farewell and to honourably accompany the fallen warrior on his final journey.
