On 17 June at 13:00, by the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in Sokal, there will be a reception of the body of fallen defender Pavlo Velhus. Residents of the community are invited to join in common prayer and farewells.
After the reception, the funeral cortege will proceed to the church in the village of Skomorokhy, where a panikhida and the funeral service for Pavlo Velhus are planned to take place immediately upon arrival.
The community calls on everyone to honour the defender’s memory with prayer and by being present at the farewell events.
