The warrior Vasyl Sarvas, who perished in battle, was laid to rest with a procession from Horodok to his native village of Zavershytsia. According to gorodok.gromada, people met the Hero on their knees, with prayers on their lips and profound sorrow of loss. Grateful for his courage and self-sacrifice, they paid him their last respects.
We hope that the soul of the warrior finds peace in the heavens and that the grieving family finds the strength to carry on, remembering his sacrifice. Eternal memory, everlasting gratitude and honour to the Hero!
