Vladyslav Sosnovskyi from Berdyansk Receives Award in Lviv

In Lviv, Vladyslav Sosnovskyi, who spent three years in captivity, was honoured. The city mayor, Andriy Sadovyi, presented him with an award on behalf of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This event was significant for the community, as Vladyslav, originally from Berdyansk, returned to peaceful life after a prolonged ordeal.

During the award ceremony, Vladyslav shared his impressions of returning to peaceful life and expressed gratitude to the people of Lviv for their support. He joined the 406th Separate Artillery Brigade in 2020, and in 2022, he remained in occupied Berdyansk to carry out a combat mission, which led to his captivity.

After six months of treatment and rehabilitation, Vladyslav decided to stay in Lviv, where he received the “For Resilience” award from Oleksandr Syrskyi. This gesture became a symbol of support and recognition of his bravery.
