In Lviv, two locations of the UAF Football Development Centre have opened for pupils in Years 1–4. Here, schoolchildren can attend football training sessions free of charge, regardless of gender.
The sessions are led by qualified coaches. Children learn the basic elements of football, improve their physical fitness, develop coordination and learn how to work as a team.
Training sessions are organised according to the following schedule:
- Secondary School No. 77 (7a Vyhovskoho Street) — Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 16:00;
- Mission “Centre for Orphan Care” of the Lviv Archdiocese of the UGCC (7 Tarasa Bobanycha “Hammer” Street) — Tuesday and Thursday at 17:00.
The organisers emphasise that such training sessions help children spend their time actively after lessons, build character and make new friends.
