After a lengthy rehabilitation, on his birthday, a warrior from the Dobrotvir Community of the Sheptytskyi District returned home. This was reported by the head of the Lviv Regional State Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi.
Pavlo Yurkevych served in the ranks of the 42nd Separate Mechanised Brigade. During combat operations, he was captured by the enemy, where he spent 994 days – nearly three years of trials, endurance, and struggle for life.
“In March of this year, Pavlo was successfully returned. Since then, he has been undergoing rehabilitation, regaining his strength – and today, on his birthday, he is home again, with his family and in his community. Pavlo, thank you for your courage, resilience, and dedication to Ukraine. Congratulations on your return and happy birthday. Wishing you and your family good health,” stated the head of the region.
