Pupil of Youth Sports School No. 2 in Sheptytskyi Anastasiia Faizulina has won a silver medal at the Ukrainian Freestyle Wrestling Championship among boys and girls in the U16 age group, which took place on 24–27 October in Zviahel.
The athlete competed as part of the Lviv region team and took second place in the 73 kg weight category, losing in the final to an opponent from Kyiv.
At Youth Sports School No. 2 they note that this result has become an important achievement both for the wrestler herself and for her coach Yurii Liebiediev, who is preparing Anastasiia for competitions at the national level.
