10 October, the villages of Stilskо and Dubrova in the Novyi Rozdil community will host the Lviv Opillia Trail cross-country race. Participants will be tackling the forest paths and hills of the Lviv Opillia area.
Residents of the community are asked to take into account a number of restrictions for the duration of the event. In particular, in and around the settlement of Rozdil, the Pryima forest tract, and the villages of Mala Volia, Velyka Volia, Stilskо and Dubrova, athletes will be running along the race routes.
The organisers appeal to pet owners not to leave dogs unattended and to keep them on a lead when walking them near the course. They also ask people to refrain from driving cars and motorbikes along forest roads and paths in the specified locations, so as not to interfere with the race or create hazardous situations.
The Lviv Opillia Trail routes will be marked with temporary red-and-white signal tape. Residents and visitors are requested not to remove it, as the organisers will clear all markings once the event is over.
The start and finish of the race are planned for the meadow of the Spravzhni Centre in Stilskо. Spectators will be able to cheer on the runners there and also visit a fair of local producers’ goods.
