The men’s volleyball team of the Solonka community has successfully passed the zonal stage of the regional competition and reached the final of the tournament in Lviv region.
The zonal matches took place in Novoyavorivsk with the participation of 18 men’s teams. The volleyball players of the Solonka community played three matches and celebrated victory in each of them with a score of 2:0, which secured them a place among the finalists.
The final stage is scheduled to take place in the town of Brody on 26–27 September. Teams from the Boryslav, Solonka, Lviv and Brody communities will compete for medals.
The Solonka community team includes: Markiyan Duma, Nazar Duma, Vitaliy Ivanchuk, Nazariy Buchok, Yuriy Pik, Oleh Kozak, Dmytro Kozak, Zakhar Kutsir and Mykola Mykhalchuk. The team representative is Volodymyr Kursa.
