In Lviv, for the first time, restaurants have united to promote Ukrainian mulled wine.
The traditional winter drink in Lviv is being offered in a new format — based on Ukrainian wines. This initiative is part of the project “Ukrainian Mulled Wine in Lviv,” aimed at supporting local winemakers and developing gastronomic tourism. Christina Lebed, head of the Lviv City Council’s Tourism Department, noted: “Such an approach is a logical development of local gastronomy and draws attention to Ukrainian wine traditions”. The cost of one serving ranges from 100 to 290 UAH.
The mulled wine can be tasted in establishments such as “Zoretsvit,” “Promin,” the “Bachevskikh” restaurant, and others. Last year, the Lviv Wine Weekend also took place in Lviv, where issues concerning the development of the winemaking industry were discussed.
