
As of 08:00 on May 27, 2025, the hydrological situation on the rivers of Lviv region remains stable.
According to the hydrometeorological network, between 0.4 to 1 mm of precipitation was recorded in the Lviv region over the past day. The rivers in the Dniester basin experienced a water level drop of 2 to 32 cm, with some areas observing a more intense drop up to 48 cm. In the lowland rivers of the Sian and Western Bug basins, a slight increase in water levels of up to 5 cm per day was noted.
Water temperature in the mountain tributaries of the Dniester ranged from 3.3 to 9.4°, while in the rest of the region’s rivers it was between 9.8 to 15.0°.
For the next day, further drops in water levels are expected in the rivers of the Dniester basin. In the lowland rivers of the Sian and Western Bug basins, slight fluctuations in water levels are forecasted, with a tendency towards a decrease.
