How Superhumans Center helps Ukrainians affected by war: the story of 21-year-old Volodymyr from Lysychansk
After successful prosthetics, the clinic’s specialists helped the guy return to his profession.
Volodymyr Britikov is 21 years old. Last summer, enemy shells hit his home in Lysychansk. He received numerous shrapnel wounds and lost his right arm.
In late 2023, he underwent prosthetics at Superhumans Center. A few weeks later, the center’s specialists also helped him return to his profession. Now Volodymyr works as a cook in the refectory of the Ukrainian Catholic University UCuniversity.
This was reported by the head of the Lviv OVA Maksym Kozytskyi.

“Today I would like to say a big thank you to the Superhumans Center team, which has conducted about a dozen tours for representatives of large and medium-sized businesses in six months. During these excursions, they literally found themselves in wheelchairs to feel what it is like for a person with a disability to move around and to take into account the needs of such people when creating institutions and public spaces.
As with all good ideas, the result exceeded expectations: thanks to such excursions, companies began to offer jobs to our soldiers and civilians who undergo prosthetics and rehabilitation at Superhumans and learn to live with new legs and arms,” the head of the region said.
The center has created a vacancy database. It now has more than 230 offers: from driver, cook to project manager and financial analyst. In addition, Superhumans, together with several businesses, is developing a project that will allow veterans to find work in the agricultural sector.
“I thank all the businessmen who have joined this important idea and invite others to follow suit, because Ukraine will be an inclusive state, and it is important to develop in this direction now,” added Maksym Kozytskyi.
