Border guards find undeclared goods worth UAH 700,000 in Lviv region
The goods were found in a minibus heading to enter Ukraine.
At the Shehyni checkpoint, border guards of the 7th Carpathian Border Guard Detachment together with Lviv Customs officers, on information from the detachment’s operatives, found food supplements and other goods labelled CBD-cannabidiol, as well as electronic cigarettes worth 700 thousand hryvnias.
The goods were found in the luggage compartment of an Opel minibus with Ukrainian registration. The 43-year-old native of Ternopil region said that the found parcel was a parcel that he was supposed to deliver in Ternopil. The driver chose the “green corridor” lane for customs control.
Customs officers seized the undeclared goods and drew up a report on violation of customs rules.
