In Lviv, a metal gate at 1 Chornomorska Street has been restored.
The work was carried out within the framework of a city co-financing program: residents paid 30% and the rest was covered by a German fund. Specialists have restored the structural reliability and authentic architectural appearance to the previously hazardous gate.
“During the restoration process, brass decorative elements were discovered, some of which had been lost. The preserved elements were cleaned and restored, while missing parts were recast based on preserved samples,” stated in the LKP ‘Heritage Bureau.’
The total cost of the restoration amounted to 98,030.21 UAH. Residents paid 29,409.06 UAH, and the rest was covered by the Eberhard Schöck Foundation.
