During the day on 17 August, thunderstorms and hail are expected in places across Lviv region. This was reported by the Lviv Regional Centre for Hydrometeorology of Ukraine.
According to meteorologists, hail with a diameter of 6–19 mm is possible in isolated areas across the region.
Residents are advised to take the weather forecast into account, follow safety rules during severe weather and, where possible, avoid staying outdoors for long periods during a thunderstorm.
