In the Lviv region, 56 fires have occurred in the last 24 hours, destroying over 5.5 hectares of land. This has led to the death of thousands of plants, insects, and animals that could not escape the flames.
Rescuers once again emphasise the importance of following safety rules: do not burn dry grass to avoid causing a disaster. There are administrative penalties for burning dry vegetation.
