Head of State Enterprise from Sheptytsky Suspected of Losses

The head of a state enterprise is suspected of unlawfully dismissing employees, resulting in losses exceeding 1.1 million UAH. According to the investigation, the acting general director of the enterprise, which is involved in mineral extraction, unlawfully appropriated funds.

In February this year, he dismissed three employees: the deputy general director, the head of the security department, and the director of human resources, citing a legal provision that allows for compensation equivalent to six months’ salary. However, this provision applies only to members of the executive bodies of business entities, not to employees of a state enterprise.

As a result of these actions, the employees received unwarranted compensation, causing significant losses to the enterprise. The suspect has been suspended from his position at the request of the prosecution. The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by Police Department No. 2 of the Sheptytsky District Police Department.
