On the road ‘Nyzhankovychi-Sambir-Drohobych-Stryi’, in the village of Horodovychi, a road traffic incident involving a motorcyclist occurred. On 6th April, at around 20:30, a 14-year-old resident of the Sambir district lost control of his Lifan motorcycle. As a result, the vehicle veered off the road and overturned.
The teenager, who was riding the motorcycle, sustained injuries and was hospitalised. Following this incident, investigators from police unit no. 1 of the Sambir District Police Department opened criminal proceedings under part 1 of article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which pertains to violations of road traffic safety regulations. Law enforcement officers are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
