
In the Lviv region on 25th April, two road traffic accidents involving motorcyclists occurred, resulting in two individuals being injured. The police urge drivers of two-wheeled vehicles to exercise extreme caution and keep an eye on the road.
The first incident took place in the village of Poltva in the Zolochiv district, where a 44-year-old woman in a Peugeot 307 CC collided with a 17-year-old motorcyclist on a Musstang MT200-9. As a result, the injured motorcyclist was taken to hospital with bodily injuries.
Another incident occurred on the “Radekhiv – Seredpiltsi” road, where a 21-year-old Suzuki motorcyclist collided with a 38-year-old cyclist from Lviv. She also sustained injuries and was hospitalised as a result. The police are currently investigating all the circumstances of the events.
Criminal proceedings have been opened under Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine for violations of road safety rules, which may lead to up to three years’ restriction of liberty.
