
In Lviv region over the past 24 hours, rescuers have extinguished 31 fires, of which 18 outbreaks occurred in ecosystems. Firefighters prevented the destruction by fire of one building and one car.
According to available information, the most common cause of fires remains human carelessness. Rescuers are urging residents not to burn dry grass and to strictly observe fire safety rules.
The rescue service emphasises that they operate around the clock, but safety largely depends on responsible behaviour by citizens.
