In Lviv region, 11 fires extinguished in 24 hours, six of them in natural ecosystems

In Lviv region, over the past 24 hours, firefighters have extinguished 11 fires, including 6 blazes in natural ecosystems. While tackling the flames, emergency crews prevented the destruction of three buildings.

According to available information, the most common cause of fires continues to be human carelessness. Firefighters urge residents not to burn dry grass and to strictly observe fire safety rules.

The rescue service stresses that units are on duty around the clock, but safety largely depends on the responsible behaviour of citizens.
