Over the past 24 hours in Lviv region, nine fires have been recorded, including four incidents in natural ecosystems. According to available information, the main cause of the outbreaks remains human carelessness.
Rescuers are urging residents of the region not to burn dry grass, leaves or rubbish, not to leave open fires unattended, and to strictly observe fire safety rules.
Specialists emphasise that it is much easier to prevent a fire than to deal with its consequences, and therefore ask citizens to act responsibly and not to provoke outbreaks.
