Roman Kyryliuk Missing in Rivne Region: Massive Search Efforts Underway

In the Rivne region, intensive searches are underway for 15-year-old Roman Kyryliuk, who disappeared on 5 May after leaving his home in the village of Oleksandriya. He has not made contact, and his whereabouts are unknown.

The search for the teenager is being conducted round the clock: national guardsmen, juvenile police officers, foresters and local residents are inspecting forest areas, abandoned buildings, and hard-to-reach locations. Drones are being used to survey the area.

As of today, divers have been engaged to check the bodies of water near the village of Oleksandriya. An inspection of the banks of the Horyn River and surrounding areas has already been conducted. Juvenile police and investigators are considering all possible versions of the disappearance, while crime analysis experts are using the ‘Safe City’ system.
