In Sheptytskyi district on 28 June firefighters dealt with two car fires that broke out in different localities. According to the rescue service, there were no casualties in either incident.
The first call came in at 10:01 from the town of Sosnivka in Sheptytskyi district. By the time firefighters arrived, the engine compartment and interior of the car were engulfed in flames. The fire was contained at 10:13 and fully extinguished at 10:17.
Later that day at 17:17 firefighters were alerted to a car fire on the roadside in the village of Silets, Sheptytskyi district. When the crew arrived, the vehicle was burning across its entire area and dry grass around it was on fire over an area of about 800 sq.m.
This fire was contained at 18:39 and fully extinguished at 20:59. No one was injured in either incident.
