Near the village of Murovane in the Sheptytskyi district there was a car fire. Information about the blaze was received by the Rescue Service “101” on 2 August at 19:39.
Firefighters from the 33rd State Fire and Rescue Unit of the city of Sheptytskyi and the local fire brigade from the city of Belz were dispatched to the scene. It was established that while driving, the driver of a “Tavria” car noticed the smell of smoke, stopped the vehicle and called the firefighters.
By the time the firefighters arrived, the car was already completely engulfed in flames. The fire was contained at 19:57 and fully extinguished at 20:06.
The cause of the fire and the circumstances of the incident are being investigated by specialists.
