Fire in Arlamivska Volia: Flames Threatened the Forest

In the village of Arlamivska Volia on April 7, 2026, a grass fire was recorded near the forest. The fire quickly spread to the forest floor covering an area of approximately 2000 m².

Units from various locations were deployed to extinguish the fire, including: the 26th State Fire and Rescue Unit from Mostyska, the 15th State Fire and Rescue Unit from Horodok, the 23rd State Fire and Rescue Unit from Yavoriv, the 12th State Fire and Rescue Unit from Sambir, as well as the Volunteer Fire Brigade from the village of Cherneve, with a team of 5 people.

Thanks to the coordinated actions of the rescuers, the situation was brought under control and further spread of the fire was prevented. This incident once again highlights the danger of burning dry vegetation, which threatens not only the environment but also human lives.
