
On the evening of 8 October, a fire broke out in a residential building on Bohuna Street in the town of Boryslav, Drohobych district, during which a dishwasher caught fire.
The report of the blaze reached the firefighters at 23:30. By the time the fire crews arrived at the scene, the flames had already engulfed the dishwasher in the house.
The fire was contained at 23:51 and fully extinguished at 23:53. Firefighters from the 6th State Fire and Rescue Unit of the town of Boryslav were involved in tackling the blaze.
The emergency services stress the importance of observing fire safety rules: do not leave electrical appliances unattended, regularly check their technical condition, do not use damaged devices and do not ignore signs of malfunction. In the event of a fire, you should immediately call 101.
